About Max Baermann
Max Baermann is one of the world’s leading magnet manufacturers, specializing in plastic-bonded permanent magnets, engineered compounds and plastic components. Since 1926, the first inventions of the Cologne-based pioneer and founder Max Baermann have grown into a group of companies with 836 patents, 360 employees and 6 sites in Germany, China and the USA.
Our tailor-made magnet, compound and plastic solutions are used above all in the automotive industry, automation and robotics. We also develop solutions for mechanical engineering, household appliance technology and consumer goods, aerospace and other industrial applications.
Here we support our customers in developing, testing and producing application-specific multifunctional components for sensors and actuators, tailor-made compounds for technical applications and plastic parts.

Since its foundation in 1926, the Max Baermann Group has stood for innovative strength in magnet technology. Just as the inventive spirit of our founder Max Baermann once opened up new technical possibilities, we continue to develop magnetic materials with a consistent focus on their specific function within the product and on their sustainability. This ambition has already produced solutions whose impact extends far beyond individual industries – including the flexible magnetic strip for refrigerator doors, which contributed to greater everyday safety worldwide.
